Academic / Single-occupancy rooms
Urban Stitch
Eighteen rooms exploring how wall thickness shapes privacy, character, and interior quiet.

The project
Overview.
A study of eighteen single-occupancy rooms drawn at 1:20. The rooms argue that thickness — not area — is the variable that produces interior quiet, and that a room's character is mostly built into its walls before any furniture arrives.
